- North Aston Organics is a Soil Association registered grower of organic vegetables and culinary herbs. We run a weekly box delivery scheme within a 15-mile radius of our village.
Organic Vegetable Box Scheme
Every Saturday morning from 9:00 until 12:30, North Aston Organics also has a stall in Deddington Market Place underneath the historic market building and once a month attends Deddington Farmers’ Market (currently 4th Saturday each month).
One of the advantages of signing up with a truly local box scheme is that you get very fresh veg often harvested on the day of your delivery and we hold farm walks each year for customers to come and look around.
We offer a year round box scheme and are licensed to buy in produce from other growers if we need additional supplies. The vegetable boxes contain potatoes, onions and carrots each week and 5 other items according to what’s in season and ready for harvest. There are four sizes of box: half, small, medium and large, which cost, when collected from one of our central drop off points, £6.00, £9.50, £13.50 and £18.00 .
As a service to our box customers we can provide organic fruit bags in two sizes(£5.00/£6.00) which contains apples, oranges and bananas (fairly traded) every week plus two other items such as pears, clementines, avocado, grapefruit or kiwi. All the produce we supply is organic. We have a NO AIR FREIGHT POLICY.
Our boxes are delivered weekly on Thursdays and Fridays mostly to central drop off points around the area. If you would like to try a box or if you have any questions, please contact us via our website.
